| Project Description: |
| Community Smiles, a pro bono clinic in existence for over 50 years, provides dental services to indigent patients from Jackson Hospital. The clinic is operated by 170 volunteer dentists who also train dental assistants. Volunteer dentists receive continuing education credits in 15 different advanced specialty clinics. Approximately 2000 indigent patients are treated annually - as in-kind contribution by professionals in our community of over one million dollars each year. |

| Community Smiles will: train 40 dental auxiliary students from disadvantaged communities per year; provide quality, low-cost dental services to 100% of the patients who attend the clinic; and will provide a minimum of 10,000 service hours by dental professional per year. |
