The South Florida NORC project is a federally funded demonstration project to provide services to seniors, through a grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services' Administration on Aging. The project was undertaken by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation in cooperation with the Jewish Federations of Broward, South Palm Beach and West Palm Beach and their respective Jewish family service agencies. The goal of NORC is to develop a model which could be expanded statewide in which seniors are able to remain living independently in their own homes. |
