Project Description:
The University of Florida IFAS Extension will deliver focused nutrition and healthy living training to community-based providers across Florida. To effectively reach these providers and to meet the needs within a given community, flexibility and age appropriate materials must be used. The Moving to a Healthy Florida Initiative will jump start a comprehensive effort in 500 locations throughout Florida through experientially based research curriculum. Evaluation of implementation will be conducted through a centralized data collection and analysis process. Once the curriculum has been utilized in a specific community, it is likely to be used multiple times in the following years, extending the reach of this initiative for many years.
