| Project Description: |
| VisionQuest proposes to convert ten current Level 4 beds and ten current level 6 beds at its Madalyn Program for Young Women in Okeechobee County to 20 mental health specialty beds. These beds would be used to provide mental health care and custody for young women who exhibit behaviors and symptoms in need of crisis intervention, stabilization and intensive mental health treatment. |

| At a minimum over the course of a year, 120 young women in the Juvenile Justice System will receive needed intensive crisis intervention, mental health, and trauma treatment. 75% of the young women participating in this program will avoid further penetration into the juvenile justice system. |
