| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| The City of Temple Terrace is building a new town center at the southeast corner of the intersection of SR 580 and SR 583. The $150 million project will impact traffic patterns on both SR 580 and SR 583, and create substantial pedestrian and possibly bicycle traffic crossing both highways. Neither highway is pedestrian friendly and safety modifications are required. Additionally, the City's master planner proposes access lanes on SR 583 south of Busch Boulevard (SR 580). Also, significant landscaping and streetscaping have been proposed to improve the aesthetic appeal of both State roads. |
