| Project Description: |
| The City of Pembroke Pines coordinates and administers an After School Tutorial Program which provides education, homework assistance, computer training and counseling to children 25% below the education level. The Program also provides activities to children and their families which include self-esteem building, crime safety and health prevention, youth entrepreneurial projects and mentorship programs. In need of financial assistance to provide these services (cover tuition)to children of low-income families and to expand programs to children in charter schools. |
