Project Description:
State funding will be used to continue implementation of water quality improvement projects as described in the Lake Okeechobee Protection Plan, submitted to the Legislature in January 2004. These projects are required under Chapter 373.4595, F.S., as part of the Lake Okeechobee Protection Act to meet the State established Total Maximum Daily Load of 140 metric tons of phosphorus to the Lake by the year 2015
