Project Description: |
The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (The Center) requests a $240,000 Cultural Endowment Matching Share. Endowment fund income will help fund the Center's vital arts education and outreach programs, which serve up to 75,000 students of all ages each year. These programs are provided at The Center as well as at inner city and rural sites, including community centers, schools, hospitals and migrant venues. The Center's arts education and outreach programs expand and enrich school curricula, enhance constituency building, and foster audience development. They also add to Tampa Bay's cultural growth and public-private partnerships by creating dynamic community collaborations and access oppurtunities. |
