| The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, the largest performing arts center in the Southeast, is a major economic driver for Hillsborough Couny and Florida. Over 700 performances are attended by over 700,000 FLoridians and cultural tourists annually. Its 40 different arts education programs serve over 75,000 K-12 school children, college/university students, adults and families each year, providing training and programming not otherwise available. Annual economic impact: $93 million. |

| The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center (The Center) requests a $240,000 Cultural Endowment Matching Share. Endowment fund income will help fund the Center's vital arts education and outreach programs, which serve up to 75,000 students of all ages each year. These programs are provided at The Center as well as at inner city and rural sites, including community centers, schools, hospitals and migrant venues. The Center's arts education and outreach programs expand and enrich school curricula, enhance constituency building, and foster audience development. They also add to Tampa Bay's cultural growth and public-private partnerships by creating dynamic community collaborations and access oppurtunities. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| Endowment fund income will help sustain and enhane pre-professional studies for the Tampa Bay Youth Orchestra, theatre arts students, classical ballet students and advanced training for artists to become educators. New advanced and pre-professional offerings will include music, theatre and ballet internships, opera camp, sound and lighting workshops, and distance learning in technical theatre. Intermediate and beginner programs will be developed in orchestra, opera, jazz, voice, theatre, sound and lighting, and ethnic dance. |
