| Project Description: |
| To expand the current "Teen Programming" within the University Area Community by collaborating with the following potential partners: Hillsborough County, the School District of Hillsborough County, Positive Spin, Tampa-Hillsborough Urban League, Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay, and Bay Area Youth Services.
The program will provide 50-100 at-risk youth ages 13-18 "Empowerment" through specific programming concentrated on job training, employability skills, cultural, recreational and educational activities that will foster social and economic skills that will follow them through life. The "Youth Empowerment" will involve hands-on decision making between the youth and agencies offering the programming. The staff to child ratio is 1:12.
