| Project Description: |
| St. Lucie County currently has a deficiency of more than 300 shelter beds for individuals with special needs. The project will not only resolve that need, it will also construct a Regional Emergency Operations Center that will provide a staging and distribution facility for emergency services. At a cost of $5,470,760; St. Lucie County has already acquired the land, developed the infrastructure and constructed 9 support buildings that will be utilized to store emergency supplies and house emergency workers during an emergency event. |
