| Florida has initiated a statewide effort to deliver more community treatment services for persons with severe and persistent mental illness through Florida Assertive Community Treatment Teams. Thirty teams have been awarded contracts including teams in Tallahassee and Pensacola. Awarding a team to Life Managment Center allows for the county to adjust for the loss of access to FL State Hospital that has occurred after the closure of G.P> Wood State Hospital |
