Project Description:
A series of Town Hall-style community forums to plan countywide action plans around Hepatitis and HIV issues. Participants will include consumers, healthcare professionals, community leaders, emergency workers/law enforcement, and industry stakeholders. To increase reach and frequency of message delivery to a wide audience as possible, broadcast and print media will be engaged throughout the project - during conceptualization, promotion/marketing, execution and publicizing outcomes. Discussion/planning themes will be: Prevention, Education and Testing, Co-Morbidity, Financing, Community Support and Leadership Building. Subsequent meetings with key participants will be held to work on the plans generated from the forums.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Establish a goal of at least 50 participants at each forum. Estimated reach and frequency of media campaigns (public service announcements, news stories, etc.) to be provided by media partners. A deliverable will be a hard-copy report on the outcomes of the forums.
