Project Description: |
In order to alleviate flooding on the northern section of the island, the Village will install one deep well and six (6) catch basins along Harbor Drive. |

The Village of Key Biscayne is a co-permittee with Miami-Dade County for the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NYPDES) and must perform the necessary tasks associated with the compliance of the permit. The Village uses best management practices in order to effectively reduce and prevent pollutants from discharging into Biscayne Bay. The Village currently maintains the pump stations and drains on a weekly basis during the rainy season in order to reduce contaminants into the Bay. Roads maintenance is done on a daily basis with litter control island wide. |
