The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, through a network of affiliated agencies, is dedicated to developing and maintaining high-quality human services to individuals and families. To carry out our mission, the Federation identifies communal priorities, raises funds and develops other financial resources, mobilizes leadership, develops plans and allocates resources to build a better community. Federation develops and assists a network of communal organizations to carry out programs and provide service. With services to our frail elderly such as meals on wheels, medication management and enhanced companion services to infant day care, counseling and child-rearing workshops for single working parents, we are reaching out to our most vulnerable populations. The Hurricane Disater Relief project will enable our community campus to operate at peak capacity to ensure that the nesessary services are provided in order to meet the basic human needs of these populations. |

Project Description: |
The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County Hurricane Disaster Relief Project is seeking financial reimbursement for capital related expenses on our campus as result of the two hurricanes that plummeted Florida earlier this year. Clearly, this project is necessary in order for our campus to be able to operate at it's full potential by ensuring that our structures and facilities are fully restored and equipped in order to continue to provide for our most basic human needs. Without these resources, we would be forced to divert funds from another potential sourse of revenue thereby putting at risk our high-quality provision that we continually strive for. |
