| Project Description: |
| Victim Services Center is Miami's award-winning research-based organization that is in dire need of it's own building. This nationally recognized program has been serving Miami's victims of torture, human trafficking, sexual assault, domestic violence, home invasion, as well as family members of homicide victims for almost ten years. They have grown out of the two-floors of rented space and because of their expansion and requests for replication from all over the world, they require a building that meets these needs. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| Crime victims will become or remain fully functioning members of the community as measured by validated scales for traumatic stress, depression, anxiety and expectancy of success. Because of our services, victims of crime will be productive members of the community, rather than spiral into addiction, mental illness and even homelessness, all of which cost far more in terms of intervention than providing our services when required. Further, training dollars will be brought into the state as national and international organizations send their staff to train and intern at our agency. |
