| Project Description: |
| Project is a one time allocation to assist the ARC of Martin County, a non-profit organization providing support and assistance to people with developmental disbilities, offer affordable housing option to 40 individuals within the Martin County area. Additional services to be provided are: residential habitation, community participation, transportation, vocational, medical nutritional, social, recreational services and other related activities of daily living. Allocation breakdown is as follows with addtional information attached and/or as requested. Eliminate $578,000 long term indebtness incured to secure affordable housing for people with disabilities; $98,000 to retire and replace three wheelchair lift equipped vehicles to transport individuals residing in the homes to medical appointments, school, work, community activities, church and other related destinations. There is a $250,000 match available for this project of which $100K is from a private donor. |
