Statewide Interest:
The Department of Juvenile Justice states that in the State of Florida, one out of four violent crimes are committed by juveniles with the most frequency at 3:00 p.m. when schhol lets out. In 33711 zip code alone, where Everyone's Youth United is located, and services youth, the DJJ analysis show at 539 youths were arrested in the 2002/2003 time period. Everyone's Youth United's programs will help reduce those numbers locally, and statewide, by offering these youth an opportunity to express their creativity in a nurturing environment. The outcomes will be measured by higher attendance at school, improved grades, improved behavior at school, and parental involvment in the form of meetings, and in-kind hours spent at our facility.
