| Project Description: |
| The University based Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System offers full-service diagnostic centers which reach out to special needs children by providing diagnostic and treatment services to children with behavioral, developmental and learning disorders. The five centers are located at major universities (University of Florida, University of Miami, University of South Florida, Florida State University and University of Florida/Jacksonville) to better reach these children. Comprehensive evaluation services are provided through the use of a multidisciplinary diagnostic clinic. The interdisciplinary teams consist of professionals from pediatrics, psychology, psychiatry and communicative disorders. These professionals are also available to work closely with schools and parents to better facilitate the education of Florida's children. |
