| Project Description: |
| Replace the existing 50-year old Plant City Courthouse with an expanded/renovated Courthouse and government services complex to serve eastern Hillsborough County. The facility has a number of structural, spatial and functional deficiencies such as inadequate space, water infiltration, deteriorated roof, asbestos containing materials, poor circulation and security, inadequate parking, non-compliance with current codes, including ADA accessibility standards, etc. In 2002, Hillsborough County purchased 3.85 acres for $2 million for the regional service center component of the larger redevelopment project. |
