| Project Description: |
| The City of Brooksville's/ State of Florida's Historic registar dates back to 1925 for this area. Time and use have resulted in water pipes located within the Historic Brooksville have resulted in breakage,infiltration and decreased efficiency. Presently, the community lacks sufficient water pressure to adequately fight fires, resulting in the loss of historic structures and the inability to promote necessary economic revitalization. The city's multi-year utility plan calls for defining the most critical problem areas, replacing water pipes and improving water pressure and fire flow. This project will upgrade the city's fire flow and water quality in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of our citizenry and promote revitalization. |
