Project Description:
The construction of catch basins and exfiltration trenches at various strategic locations to control flooding and other hazards associated with stormwater surges. The project will reduce pollutant loadings to Biscayne Bay.

Describe how it will reduce loadings, identify anticipated load reductions for total suspended solids, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and other contaminants, and specify the practices that will be used to reduce loadings:
The installation of the proposed infiltration systems will provide increased water quality treatment, thus reducing loadings to Biscayne Bay. Two separate sub-basins are proposed in this phase of the project. Sub-basin #1 will yield the following reductions: Phosphorus Load Reduction = 24 kg/yr, Nitrogen Load Reduction = 187 kg/yr, Total Suspended Solids Load Reduction = 2266 kg/yr. Sub-basin #7 will yield the following reductions: Phosphorus Load Reduction = 27 kg/yr, Nitrogen Load Reduction = 207 kg/yr, Total Suspended Solids Load Reduction = 2515 kg/yr
