| Project Description: |
| Acquire 18 homes along the Cambridge Canal that are within a flood plain and has historically flooded during such events like the 1994 Tropical Storm Gordon, the 2004 hurricanes, and when heavy rains occur. Once acquired the City plans to restore the natural environment by removing the homes purchased and have the land serve as dry retention ponds and open recreational space, as well as habitat. |
