Project Description:
This program will provide prevention intervention for older adults by preventing & reducing alcohol & medication misuse & related problems. It includes educational programs, outreach, advocacy & the promotion of creative alternatives.

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
At least 80% of the older adults & caretakers participating in these services will gain an understanding of the interactions of alcohol & drugs (prescribed & over-the-counter) on their health. This program will encourage them to become better managers of their own health.
