Statewide Interest: |
Currently, across Florida the health and long-term care systems are separate and do not communicate for the benefit of the user. The Older Adult Planning project would improve coordination between resources for the elderly and provide a more effective use of funding for services. The project could serve as a model for the state on how to plan, design and implement new systems in each community for the future growth of older persons. |
