| Project Description: |
| Prevention and education program for our youth and their families, through positive lifestyle, health and parental workshops in addition to team sports. To service the youth and parents of our community and affect their attitudes and subsequently assist in their ability to set and achieve goals, develop leadership potential and constructively channel idle time and energies into positive behavior. The unemployment rate for the State of Florida and Miami-Dade County continues to increase. Per the metropolitan Statistical Area, Miami is rated number two with an unemployment rate of 7.2%. the poverty level per the U.S. Census 2000 (release of these estimates October 2003), Miami-Dade County's poverty level was 17.4% |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| Through this program, we are expecting the 20% of the high school dropouts will receive GED diplomas, reading and math skills will improve by 80%. Teens in the program will abstain from sexual activity and that youth families will bexome xloser through increase communication skills. |
