Project Description: |
Public health education is delivered at the master's level. The content covered by a couse of study in public health prepares workers to:
- Assess and understand multiple determinants of complex health problems.
- Develop and implement interventions addressed to the determinants of these problems so that their incidence can be reduced and, when the problems do occur, unfavorable effects can be minimized.
- Focus organized interventions on entire populations
- Work with legislators to develop policies that promote health and protect people from disease and injury, and
- Evaluate the effects of policies and interventions so they can be continued, modified or eliminated, as indicated by the results. |
