| Project Description: |
| The city of Marianna, Jackson County and Family Dollar Distribution Center has went into an agreement to provide an Emergency Substation to improve emergency response in the area and allow improved coordination between and among government agencies. There is a need for additioinal communications and training equipment, portable generators, and the City of Marianna would also like to provide the elderly citizens of Marianna Smoke detectors andfire extinguishing hoods canisters. The city of Marianna knows that funding projects like The Emergency Substation will improve the quality of life for the citizens, encourage tourism, and increase econiomic development opportunities. |
