| Project Description: |
| A one-time, non-recurring capital investment will allow Goodwill to purchase a color textile printer for it's state of Florida. This equipment will be used to print flags, including the seal of the state of Florida. This equipment will be utilized as a part of plan to create new jobs and spur economic development in one of the poorest and highest unemployment areas in Florida. Within just a three mile radius of Goodwill, some 267,000 people barely live on $10,845 a year- 32.9% below the poverty level. Goodwill through the new flag company will begin to manufacture and market flags in large volume on a national level- increasing it's current $3.7 Million in flag revenue to $5 Million in the period of a few years. The flag company will employ at least 60 people with disablities. |
