Our states future is represented by its approximately 4,000,000 children. By partnering with and empowering local communities, Florida has made tremendous strides toward improving its child protection system. Furthermore, the implementation of Community Based Care is allowing local communities to develop programs and strategies that best meet their specific needs. The Kids House facility expansion will enhance the Seminole County Child Protection Program's effectiveness and efficiency, resulting in the safety and healing of abused children who will become well adjusted members of Florida's community.

Project Description:
Kids House is embarking on an aggressive 10,000 square foot facility expansion. To date Kids House has secured roughly 50% of the $2.6 million construction costs. When completed, the state of the art facility will enable law enforcement personnel, child protection professionals, child advocates and licensed clinical therapists as well as office personnel to effectively work with child abuse victims and families, resulting in enhanced services and improved case outcomes.
