| Project Description: |
| This project provides for the purchase and installation of advanced water and wastewater security and monitoring systems that will be utilized to protect the City of Boca Raton's water and wastewater facilities and distribution systems. Since September 11, 2001, the need for increased water and wastewater facility and distribution system security and monitoring has been realized. Water quality and system disruption have been identified as potential threats to public water systems. The purchase and installation of new and advances in water and wastewater security ad monitory systems will ensure the protection of the City of Boca Raton's water and wastewater facilities and distribution systems minimizing the potential for contamination or disruption of critical services. |
