| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| Play is a fundamental component of childhood. It is also an important way children learn to conform to society. This project will benefit children with and without disabilities by providing opportunities for all children to play together side-by-side. It will also provide opportunities for intergeneration play between children and their physically challenged parents and grandparents. The project will also include the development of a park to complement the playground. The park will provide opportunity for health, fitness and educational opportunities. Children of varying ages and abilities will be able to experience a beautiful park setting that will be designed to provide tactile and visual stimulation by using environmentally related attractions. |
