| Project Description: |
| Lake Wauberg has experienced a decline in water quality which could pose a risk to human health and safety and loss of recreational value as a result of excess nutrients. This impairment is consistent with hundreds of nutrient impaired urban lakes in Florida. To restore Lake Wauberg and allow for continued recreational use the University of Florida seeks to employ an algal turf scrubbing system to remove nutrients from the lake and restore water quality and recreational benefits. |
