| Venice Bypass is a three-mile long segment of principal arterial roadway serving the City of Venice and unincorporated Sarasota County. This four-lane roadway carries approximately 43,000 vehicles per day and is becoming increasingly congested. It is designated regional roadway pursuant to interlocal agreement between the Sarasota/Manatee MPO and the Charlotte-Punta Gorda MPO, and it serves local and regional mobility needs as well as being a principal arterial used for evacuation of City of Venice and portions of unincorporated Sarasota County |
