| Impacts and benefits healthh care services to rural and underserved populations throughout the state of Florida and related to Governor Bush's priority of improved healthcare. Specifically, this request is in alignment with the following: (1) AHCA's Long Range Program Plan objective on increasing physician use of electronic health records and adherence to evidence based medicine Medicaid Reform objective (2) AHCA's Long Range Program Plan objective to increase by 50% annually the number of patient records accessed by practitioners through the Florida Health Information Network and (3) Governor Bush's efforts related to Minority Health Initiatives. |

| Project Description: |
| The deployment and implementation of an integrated, centrally-managed, Electronic Health Records solution to community health centers throughout the State of Florida. Services include the following: (1) The provision of a technical infrastructure hosted out of a hurricane 5 rated facility with redundant servers to mitigate risks and build assurances for disaster recovery and business continuity; (2) training and project management services to ensure the successful provider adoption of an electronic health record system; (3) provider collaboration services in order to ingrain best practices and evidenced based medicine protocols into the electronic health record system; and (4) data collection, analysis, reporting services including technical services related to data exchange initiatives with community-based networks. |
