Section 27.36, Florida Statutes 2004

127.36  Office of Prosecution Coordination.--

(1)  There is created in the office of the Governor the Office of Prosecution Coordination.

(2)  The office shall coordinate and provide information, assistance, and staff support to the various state attorneys.

(3)  There shall be an executive director of the Office of Prosecution Coordination who shall be appointed and serve at the pleasure of the Governor.

(4)  The executive director shall employ such other personnel as may be necessary in the performance of office functions.

(5)  The operation of the Office of Prosecution Coordination shall be funded from the General Revenue Fund. The office may, with the approval of the Governor, seek and accept grants, funds, or gifts from any source, public or private, federal, state, or local, to supplement its operation and defray the expenses incurred in the operation and implementation of this act.
