moved the following amendment:

Section:                 EXPLANATION:

On Page: 000             This amendment implements the Governor's recommendation
                         to establish an alternative FICA program for temporary
Spec App:                employees and deposits $6,700,000 into General Revenue
                         unallocated.  The amendment also appropriates
                         $6,700,000 from General Revenue unallocated to the
                         Community College Program Fund.

        In Section     On Page 000

        INSERT a new section 34, on page 351, and renumber 
        subsequent sections:

Section 34.  There is hereby deposited in general revenue unallocated
funds from the savings generated from implementing the Governor's
Recommendation to establish an alternative FICA program for temporary
employees under section 3121 (b) (7) (F) of the Internal Revenue Code. 
The Governor is authorized to reduce the approved operating budgets of
the Agencies accordingly.  There is hereby appropriated $6,700,000
million dollars from the General Revenue Fund to the Community College
Program Fund.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
