Immediately following Specific Appropriation 831, INSERT:

From the funds in Specific Appropriation 831 up to $600,000 may be used
to contract with the Bridges of America facility in St. Petersburg for
up to 75 substance abuse treatment beds provided that there is no
negative impact on other contract providers or the availability of
services in other areas of the state.  The department may utilize its
authority pursuant to Chapter 216, Florida Statutes, to transfer funds,
if necessary to avoid negatively impacting other providers or areas of
the state, if it chooses to exercise the authority granted in this
paragraph.

Line item amendments are accepted as part of the amendatory process. However, due to the necessity of using computerized systems this may entail a different placement within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items.
