Fund appropriated to the five sheriffs who perform
Spec App: 319B child abuse and neglect protective investigations.
Reduces by $1.5 million the Tobacco Settlement Trust
Fund appropriated for Child Protection.

DELETE proviso following Specific Appropriation 319B and INSERT the
following:
Funds in Specific Appropriation 319B shall be used by the Department of
Children and Families to award grants to the Sheriffs of Manatee, Pasco,
Pinellas, Broward and Seminole Counties for the performance of child
protective investigations as mandated in Section 39.3065, Florida
Statutes. The total appropriation of $28,207,916 shall be allocated as
follows:
