In Section 02, on Page 20, after the sixth paragraph of proviso language
following Specific Appropriation 73, INSERT the following:
An independent study shall be commissioned to study the DCD with
national educational funding experts to analyze equity issues in the
funding formula. Two (2) representatives of the Florida School Board
Association and two (2) representatives from the Florida Association of
District School Superintendents shall be involved in the selection of
the national educational funding experts. One (1) representative from
each of the two (2) groups shall be from a district which benefits from
the current wage based index and the other representative shall be from
a district that is negatively affected by the current wage based index.

within a budget entity or the renumbering of the specific appropriation items. |
