Appropriations Committee Amendment Deadlines
- Thursday, March 23, 2023
The Appropriations Committee will notice its meeting for Tuesday, March 28, 2023, to consider the General Appropriations Bill (SPB 2500), the Implementing Bill (SPB 2502), additional bills related to the state’s budget, and other bills. The bills relating to the state’s budget will be available electronically on the Senate’s website, including the Appropriations webpage. - Friday, March 24, 2023, by 1:00 p.m.
Amendments to SPB 2500 and SPB 2502 must be submitted for preparation and filing to the appropriate Appropriations committee staff (Suite 201, The Capitol).
Amendments to all bills other than the General Appropriations and Implementing bills must be submitted to Bill Drafting for preparation, and be in final barcoded form when filed with the Appropriations Committee. - Monday, March 27, 2023, by 1:00 p.m.
Amendments to amendments and substitute amendments to the SPB 2500 and SPB 2502 must be submitted for preparation and filing to the appropriate Appropriations committee staff (Suite 201, The Capitol).
Amendments to amendments and substitute amendments to all bills other than the General Appropriations and Implementing bills must be submitted to Bill Drafting for preparation, and be in final barcoded form when filed with the Appropriations Committee. - Tuesday, March 28, 2023, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - SPB 2500, SPB 2502, additional bills related to the state’s budget, and other bills will be considered in the noticed Appropriations Committee meeting.
