GENERAL BILL by Health Care ; Banking and Insurance ; Diaz-Balart
Health Insurance; exempts moneys paid into Roth individual retirement account from creditors' claims; exempts moneys paid into Medical Savings Account from attachment, garnishment, or legal process; specifies exceptions to guaranteed renewability of individual health insurance policies; requires DOI to annually establish standard risk rates for purposes of determining maximum premiums for conversion policies, etc. Amends Chs. 222, 627, 641.
