HB 4667: Criminal Punishment

GENERAL BILL by Crime & Punishment ; Ball

Criminal Punishment; clarifies that Criminal Punishment Code does not apply to capital felonies; provides that terms or conditions for control release are not subject to refusal by certain offenders; provides legislative determination re appropriate incarceration of criminal offenders; provides that sentence imposed may not be shortened if defendant would consequently serve less than 85% of his or her term of imprisonment, etc. Amends FS.
