CS/SB 1800: Florida Health Endowment Association
GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Latvala
Florida Health Endowment Association; creates said association as nonprofit entity to provide insurance coverage to individuals whose health insurance has been involuntarily terminated for reasons other than nonpayment of premiums; requires that plan offer renewable policy that provides specified coverage; requires that plan offer major medical expense coverage similar to that provided by state group health insurance program, etc. Repeals various sections in Ch. 627. APPROPRIATION: $50,000,000.
