GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Lee
Health Care Administration Agency; designates agency as department; reorganizes agency & removes it from under DBPR; provides for appointment of Secretary of Health Care Administration by Governor, subject to confirmation by Senate; provides exclusive jurisdiction of AHCA over workers' compensation managed care arrangements & exclusive authority to investigate medical services provided under such arrangements, etc. Amends FS.
