Judicial Nominating Commissions; (THIS BILL COMBINED IN CS/S826,398) provides for appointment of members to each judicial nominating commission; prohibits judges from serving; restricts appointment of members & former members to judicial offices; requires appointing authorities to seek to ensure racial, ethnic, gender, & geographical diversity of membership; requires consideration of county representation on circuit, etc. Creates 43.291; repeals 43.29. APPROPRIATION: $25,000.
