GENERAL BILL by Fiscal Policy & Resources ; Wallace
Sales Tax/State Tax Policy; provides that it is policy of this state that only those items, services, & other transactions deemed to be subject to tax on sales, use, & other transactions on July 1, 2001, shall be taxed under Tax on Sales, Use, & Other Transactions law, unless made subject to said tax by act of Legislature; revises exemption for industrial machinery & equipment; broadens application of exemption, etc. Creates 212.213; amends 212.08.
