CS/SB 316: Sovereign Immunity/Self-Insurance

GENERAL BILL by Governmental Oversight and Productivity ; Campbell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Smith

Sovereign Immunity/Self-Insurance; provides that state, agency, or subdivision thereof may settle judgement or claim within limits of self-insurance fund; clarifies that any defense of sovereign immunity is not waived as result of providing specified risk-management program. Amends 768.28.
