School Infrastructure Thrift Program; provides additional purposes of program; provides for funds under program to be used to fund school safety; provides requirements for school district to participate in SIT Safety Program; requires that request for funding under program be reviewed by SMART Schools Clearinghouse; specifies amount of awards under program, based on grade level & number of permanent student stations, etc. Amends 235.2155,.216,.217.
