CS/CS/SB 1588: Public-Records/SS Numbers
GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Governmental Oversight and Productivity ; Burt ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cowin
Public-Records/SS Numbers; creates exemption from public-records requirements for all social security numbers held by agency or its agents, employees, or contractors; provides conditions under which said numbers may be provided to commercial entity; provides for review of said numbers collected prior to effective date of exemption; restricts release of numbers contained in official records, etc. Creates 119.072.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
