SB 1662: Substance-abuse Treatment

GENERAL BILL by Burt

Substance-abuse Treatment; provides additional legislative findings & purposes re treatment of substance abuse; authorizes court to order specified persons to submit to substance-abuse assessment upon showing of good cause in connection with shelter hearing or petition for dependency; revises eligibility requirements for participation in pretrial intervention programs, etc. Amends Ch. 39, 397.334, 948.08, 985.306.
